Bog Ugly and the Wufters

John's only punk band, he played bass and also drums on a few songs. His favourite track of theirs was 'I've Seen It Vomit', a track released as the B-Side to 'Disco Veteran' in 1978. "They were art school punk,' John says, 'The lyrics were really acidic; cutting didn't come into it."

John gives the full name of the band [as above] although all releases are credited to 'Bog Ugly'. Only one single was ever pressed; 'Disco Veteran' b/w 'I've Seen it Vomit' was released onToadstool records in1978 on7" vinyl. It is unknown if Rhino played on this recording, but he definitely played the songs live wth the band, 'I've Seen it Vomit' being one of his favourites.
These two songs were subsequently released on theKilled By 7" series' disc # 6 ['I've seen it Vomit'; track 1] and theBloodstains seriesAcross the UK # 4 ['Disco Veteran'; track 2] both of which are extremely sought after by Punk fanatics the world over.
