Screaming Lord Sutch and the Savages
John's first British institution - the first of many.  Leader of the 'Monster Raving Loony' UK political party, Sutch, and his band The Savages, released a fair amount of material in the mid-seventies. John's appearances with the assemblance were purely in a live capacity only, and it was whilst gigging in this group that he met highly stylistic drummerJeff Rich, then house drummer at the Savages regular gig.
