Mark II of John's own band were commissioned, during theClimax Blues tour, to take up residency in a pub on Bermuda.
This time he had a horn section [apt don't you think?], and also the current Quo tub-thumping animalMatthew Letley, a certainKathy Devine on percussion and backing vocals,Queen's 'boardistSpike Edney, Kim Wilde 's guitarist and songwriter [plus top sessonist]Steve Byrd, and Tzuke's, Wham's andDuran Duran's 'brassist'Andy Hamilton.There was even the appearance of a Mr.Mike Paxman on guitar - and, whatever he tells you, he can burn a fretboard with the best of them.
